Grilled Pear and Chevre on Mixed Greens

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:

  • 3 pears cut in half and cored
  • 4 oz chevre
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • Mini tomatoes (optional)
  • Red pepper strips (1/2 cup)
  • 2 scallions chopped
  • ¼ c vinaigrette
  • ½ c roasted crushed Hazelnuts
  • ¼ - ½ cup Wellington Made  Balsamic Elderberry Fig drizzle

Directions:

  1. Bake halved pears in 325-degree oven for 25-30 min
  2. Remove from oven and place ½” cut of chevre ( 11/2 tbsp) into the cored hollow
  3. Toss greens, scallions and pepper with vinaigrette and plate in a mound
  4. Stand / lean the baked pear on the mound
  5. Top with roasted Hazelnuts
  6. Rim the plate with Wellington Made Drizzle
  7. Serve with French Bread.
